It all began in 1929 when Charlie Ekstrom had an idea. He wanted to provide quality lubricants to the fast emerging agricultural market. The internal combustion engine was quickly changing life in rural America and Charlie wanted to be part of that change.

Headquartered in St. Paul MN, The Farm-Oyl Company has been serving the upper Midwest farm market for over 70 years. Farm-Oyl was providing quality lubricants for over 20 years before the agricultural OEM’s began to develop their own lubricant lines. Countless other brands have come and gone, but the Farm-Oyl brand remains strong.
